Thats fine, what OS is on each server?

Are you on shared hosting? there's hardly any ram and your using a lot of swap files!

using ovh classic range Linux centos only 1 forum on it atm & not active

There is nothing wrong with the system caching your ram, using all your ram & swapping are a different story.

The main question would be what simon asked, is it shared?

You posted that there is nothing but 1 forum on it & its not active.

ovh vps classic

So you're on a Virtual Private Server, it's a little better than shared hosting, however, considering that you are using most of your ram and page swap and that the forum isn't in use, i'd say either your setup is wrong or you have added some mods....etc that are draining your resources already, when you go in to production mode you will most likely suffer from the server getting overloaded as the processor will have to handle tasks in and out of the hard drive to compensate for the lack of ram...etc.

Thanks will see what ovh got to say :)

ovh support is a joke, good luck with that.

As your cpu usage is low, did u verify that your server isnt infected with malware, did you check your running processes?

Simon Lloyd 01-06-2014 12:29 PM

As an added piece of advice, make sure your pc is clean of malware/virii BEFORE connecting to your server as this is often the first way in to getting an infection.
