Vbulletin virus? Phantom links to ads
 

Ok out of nowhere this started to happen this evening...

Random phrases are all of a sudden highlighted And linked to crappy ads

Please help me figure out what happened and how to fix it and prevent it ...

Is this happening to all your users, or just you? If it's just you, then you likely have some malware on your computer. At first glance, this is what it looks like.

I would do a scan with comodo internet security. If the problem still persists, then I recommend you take your issue to majorgeeks, who deal with stuff like this on a daily basis.

Why are you using Internet Explorer? Many people have given it the nickname Internet Exploiter for a good reason and refuse to even use it...

I can't help but notice that you have a ton of "toolbars". I would almost bet that one of them are to blame for the ads you're seeing.
