SLOW day on the web today for posting
 

Everywhere I have been online today from mega sites like facebook, to all the big boards I am on, down to the dead ones I'm on... There's not alot of posting going on today, even here.

Anyone else notice?

Nope...our site actually had a very active day and even here at Vorg I saw well over 200+ posts...I say that is pretty active ...

My sites were just normal, they're never especially heavy anyway. But I noticed lots of others just, slow. FB surprises me more than the rest.

Hopefully facebook starts slowing down more! lol...I seriously can not stand facebook anymore, it really takes away from the smaller sites and communities like mine. I used to have facebook connect on my site and removed it as it slowed my site down and facebook would send tons of its crawlers to my site since we actually have a pretty active site.

But I actually saw a lot of activity from my friends on facebook today, I just noticed a little while ago. Maybe it's just your friends? lol....

Yeah it wasn't just friends it was pages too, just seemed like a slow day today for the web.

Facebook will die just like MySpace did, when the next "cool" thing comes along.

Yeah it will eventually...I seriously stopped using most social networks and just spend all my time on my site now ... tired of the bs that all these sites allow to go on and the ads that slow down the browser experience ...you would think someone like facebook would seriously do something about how bad the ads slow them down and us down if we implement something like facebook connect on our sites ....

It's gonna collapse under its own weight.

576 posts yesterday on my OT forum, well above some of the slower days we've had this month where we saw a low of 115 once. :(

Nice BOP5 ! We had well over 475 on our forums as well and that was only when I started keeping track ....muahah!

How or what do you use to keep track of your new posts BOP5?
