Looking For Mod to Tell User They Have Benn Quoted
 

Like the user to know if they have been quoted or their post liked. I've seen this feature on XenForo forums.

Assuming this is a mod available on vBulletin forms too?

The vBNotifications will, not a red alert like that, but it will do the same thing like when you get a PM, how it shows you have a new notification. :)

I assume that's the one they run on the DragonByte board? From an end user standpoint it doesn't work well. Always says I have quotes when I have no new quotes, never goes away.

Yes it is the one the run on their site. TBH I never experienced that issue as a staff member or ad a member.

I would do as ZUCCO suggested, try it on your site, if you don't like it, you can always uninstall it.

Yep quote notifications are among the most irritating things there is for a user. Because every time you are quoted, then someone quotes that post where you were quoted... etc you get the picture. It's not a Mod I personally recommend unless you want to annoy your membership.

The Mod I pictured in Post 4 really works well. Every time you click on Alerts it clears the counter. I also like the way it keeps tracks of Likes. The user has full control of what they want or don't want to be notified of.

Does anyone know what it is?
