How to get more people on a chatrooms website?
 

Hi guys, not sure if this is the right section/forum at all, but ill try

I have a chatrooms website which i launched few weeks back, and its not really picking up, theres only 250 accounts entering per day, and people bounce off as I was hitting them with something hard, even though the feedback i get is really good(sometimes at least).

At any given times there is .... 15 people online.... even though the database shows up with 8.5k accounts registered in the past 6 weeks.

While you're there, the website gives anyone right to make their own chatrooms and ability to embed them on a website all free of charge. Any clue where to go promoting this one? it seems crazily difficult to promote anything nowadays.

P.S. its a custom website, not powered by vBulletin, i entered here because thats what came up as a google search.
