Notification if the user has new reply in his thread
 

I tried many times but it is not working

- User (A) wrote new thread
- User (B) replied on that thread
- User (A) will receive a notification that user (B) replied in his thread

Anybody know the concept on how to make it?

What options did you select when you subscribed to the thread?

Actually I am using (DownloadsII) mod and I want to send a notification the user if anybody reply on his file.

But it is the same concept for the thread replies notification, that is why I asked about it so I can use the same concept to add the notification feature in DownloadsII :rolleyes:

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

The mod is working perfect.
I need to add extra feature so I ask you here if any programmer have idea to implement this feature. I cannot add a request in the mod thread or start a discussion about how to add a feature that I am need it especially if the mod is working perfect while somebody here may help me and give a hint so I can add this feature in my forum.

You are still asking for help with a modification, regardless if it works or not, or if it is a added feature, you would need to ask in that mods thread. :)

The mod programmer will not add this feature in his mod, then what is the solution?

I may ask here or in the paid services to get any feature for my forum, I cannot find any reason to write the request in the mod thread if the mod programmer rejected to add it. Sorry

Then you may have to ask in the paid section, this section is not for asking how to add a feature to a mod that someone else released, and the developer refused it.

I made this notification modification for my site about one year ago (now my forum is closed).
So if you can make me a small donation to complete it, then I'll be happy to share it :D
