Letters delete whole post - Example: " ? "

Hey, I have had this problem from beginning on.

When ever someone writes a message with ascii letters or even the ? symbol it deletes the post.

Example:

Code:

Hello, this is my post.

I will keep typing but first ??????? Test

So how are you today?

The output (actual post):
Code:

Hello, this is my post.

I will keep typing but first

This is really pissing me off and a pain in the ass, even the currency (Pound) does the same....

I really need help :(

I have no problem using ascii characters on my development server.

Try disabling all of your mods and see if it still happens. One of them might be filtering out the ASCII characters.

Did not update to 4.2.2 yet.

Sorry to say it posts without a problem in 4.2.1 for me too.

Wish I could be more help.

Wish I could help, but I have no problems with this myself :S

Can I pay someone to find and correct the error for me?

If so where shall I ask/look?

Thanks for responding btw, I appreciate it ;)

Have you already created a new style with no parent to see if it's style related? Possibly some replacement variables?

I really know nothing about vBulletin, that is why I am willing to pay a coder to fix this.

Then you need to post in the correct forum if you are going to pay someone to fix this
