Name changing but doesn't change everywhere

When a user name changes, Their old name still remains in quotes and pms. Is there a way to update this?

You did not indicate how you changed the user name. Did you manually change it in the Admincp or did you use a 'mod'?

You might try:
Admincp -> Maintenance -> General Update Tools -> Update User Names

This will update all cached user names in the database. Run this if you have manually changed a user name.
