Plugin only visible in one style?
Hello!
I got this sidebar plugin/product on my 3.8 forum. But its only visible in my default style, not in the other styles, how can I change this? thank you beforehand! |
Might ask this in the thread where you downloaded that modification. Easier for us out here, to help you and I think it's a board rule too. :)
If it's the one I think it is, you have to "tell" it what all styles it goes on, in its option list in AdminCP. Also if it is the one I am thinking, a certain hook must be present in the style for it to work on that style. |
hello, thanks for your answer.
Its a sidebar developed by a vietnamn vbb modification. Cant find the website right now. |
1.) Rebuild the styles.
2.) If a child style template has already altered, then the modifications to the parent template will not propagate. Now is a good time to backup! Find out what templates are being modified by your 'mod' by looking at the 'productfile.xml' -- if the author does not list the templates modified. Using 'style Manager', check your child styles and if the template's name is in 'red', you will need to 'revert' it. (Note - You will loose any data that is already in the template, so make sure you have a backup of the style.) vBulletin Manual - Template inheritance https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html?...rsion=40202500 I hope it helps :) |
