Access Masks
My Access Masks doesn't appear to be working. I created a fake user profile with a fake post count and part of a usergroup and sub usergroup etc. Using access masks I have cut his access to the entire forum by setting everything to no but I can still login and use the forum with that profile.
What am I doing wrong? I basically want to start penalizing bad behaviour by cutting access to certain forums for specific users. I am not sure if there is another way to do this or not? |
Did you turn on Access Masks first in AdminCP > Settings > Options > General Settings > Enable Access Masks ?

Thank Lynn I got it sorted out. There is actually 3.6 Mod on there that works with 4 to control banning and access to specific forums and subforums and is working well.
