Latest News!

Hello,

I've been reading about in a lot of different places to find out how this can be done. Basically I'm sure most of you know vBa_CMPS have the latest news on the main page, Now I have a custom built homepage for my website which i would like to pull the latest news and announcements off the forums in the same way that system does.

Anyone got any ideas on how this can be done ? Or some sort of link to a thread where I can find a rough idea ?

Tell us more about your custom page. Is it wordpress or just a HTML page? Without knowing anything one thing you could do is RSS the info over.

It's just a custom HTML page, I'm just planning to show active users and latest news on the homepage of the website just as vBulletin show "Who's Online" and how vBa_CMPS show latest news in the homepage of the portal. (Might be an idea to rip from there?)

https://www.rstoplist.net/forum/forum.php is the forums

You can see its switched off at the moment cause I'm still developing but my header file has included vB files for my login, etc.
