Use the stats infos on header
 

Hello everyone

I would like to create a welcome header for guests and i would like to highlight the forum stats.

I thought to use the script in the "whats going on" section of the forum

this part in particular:

{vb:rawphrase threads}: {vb:raw forum.threadcount}
{vb:rawphrase posts}: {vb:raw forum.replycount}

unfortunately it work only the rawphrase wich instead the thread count and reply count does not show info at all.

Any help with this mod?

Sorry, your post is a bit hard to understand. You will have to show your code, so we can see what your doing. Most likely the variables you are trying to place in a template are not available in that template. In other words you need to register the variables in that template.

I'll try to explain better.

You know there is a notices that invite the guest to register, it is the default guest message.

I would like to modify that pretty much like this:

"This community has {thread Count} Discussions and {UserCount} users registered, Join Us!"

By using the statistics form the "what's going on".

They should be already registered because i'm just duplicating the script on the same page.

somebody can help me on that?

I have some beta code, I am about to release. A couple of users have asked for something like this. I was under the weather the last couple of days, but I should be able to send you something that will work in the next couple of days. Trust me, well worth the wait.
