Reputation bars not rebuilding

Hey there,

I currently have an issue. I have modified several reputation settings (in Options/User Reputation Options & User Reputations/User Reputations Manager), I rebuilt the reputation through Maintenance/General Update Tools/Rebuild User Reputation, and the reputation bars still do not update to the new settings.

- The reputation power is great, it updates.
- As you hover your mouse over the reputation bars, the reputation text (eg. "is a splendid one to behold") is great, it updates, according to the User Reputations/User Reputations Manager steps.
- The reputation bars do NOT update. According to the new settings, a user that had 10 green bars previously, should now have 4 green bars. And yet, he still has 10 bars.

I have also manually run basically all crons from the Scheduled Task Manager, just to make sure as well as optimized/repaired the database tables. Still nothing.

Can someone help with some advice, please ?

Thank you.

Have you enabled it for each usergroup, I think the default setting is "No"

Yes, it it enabled for each usergroup.

Users can override that in their profiles if they want to

I think you haven't understood my problem correctly.

Reputation is enabled, it is showing. It has been for many years.

My problem is that it is not re-counting the green/red bars (stars, whatever) correctly, after modifying the thresholds in User Reputations/User Reputations Manager.

Try running the general updates in Maintenance

The pips do their own thing, and are not part of the phrases. Each regular green pip is worth 100 rep, a darker colored green pip is worth 200, IIRC, and it goes the otherway as well. The number of reputation points a pip gives, is hardcoded into the system and cannot be changed without manual file edits.
Zachary over at vbulletin.com answered this for me. This was my issue.

So, because the pips themselves are not tied to the phrase setup, my question is:

Is there any way I can modify said light/dark green pip reputation threshold ?

Ideally, non-linear (different steps of reputation for each pip, basically, following the phrase logic), but practically, even if they are equal. Eg. increase dark green pips with 200, light green with 1000.

Can anyone help with where/what to edit ? (4.2.0)

Did you try a search - there are a few reputation mods.
