Replacement for vbseo?
I had vbseo before it went down and now i am trying to find out a good seo replacement. I currently have not made any changes
|
Unclear to me why folks running v4 think they need SEO. You don't, it's built in. That's why VBSEO is gone, it was no longer useful.

DBTech is coming out with one, you can see a thread about it here, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=304107

Never knew that. Thank you

Additionally, I've run v3 for years and never used any kind of SEO, and my site has very good search results, ranking, everything people paying through the nose to use SEO, have.

Here's some good information. https://support.google.com/webmaster...er/35291?hl=en It's everything from naming your categories and forums/subforums, taking into consideration what people search for on your site's topic, etc. The sidebar helps, gives the spiders more to index and plenty of ready links to follow. Advanced stat box, stuff like that. If the spiders like your main page, they'll like your site too. EDIT: Oh and I forgot: LOAD SPEED is crucial. If your site consistently loads slow, it will hurt your SEO because the spiders will simply index you ALOT less and/or stop visiting altogether.. |
Thanks, so what should friendly url settings be set on?
