Hey, you know that excellent vBPortal that's around.. How it has that non-vB frontpage mini-calendar linked to the vB calender.. Great idea, but unfortunately it's only part of a portal script (which leaves those who don't use a portal script out).. Do you think this could be written to work so the calendar piece runs seperately?

See, we'll have a nice calender in the upper right hand corner of the new website i'm about to launch, and i'd rather replace it with one that links to the vB one and has that nice mini-graphical one..

Right now on my beta site we only have a flat graphical one with no links, but we'd like to have the days link to the vB events for that day (if any exist of course).. Just like vBPortal (but without the portal!) lol... I think it would be an extremely popular add-on.

Well, something to think about..

Thanks for listening to my request!

Actually, this is a good inquiry. I wouldn't mind seeing a hack for this. I would have a bunch of uses for it! I run a musicians web site and that would be useful for show dates, etc.... not only for him, but for other local artists as well.

I can post the one from vbportal if you like. I won't be able to provide support for it other than simple questions.
