Upgrading from vb 4.2.2 to vb5
Getting this error:
"An error has occurred with your database. Please contact vBulletin Support for assistance. Module: install, Step 2 Database Error:1050 Table 'access' already exists" ...yet I want to keep my old database's information. How can I work around this? Thanks! :) |
Are you running upgrade.php or install.php? You need to run upgrade.php if you want to keep all of your old stuff :)

why?
|
Because he wants to do an update, not a fresh installation? Seems quite logical to me...
|
I mean why does he want to upgrade to vB5? Perhaps he's just trying it out on a dev server.
