[OzzModz] Log Selected Members Login/Logout IP

Here is a small modification you can use to log selected users or usergroups IP's when they login or log out of your site.

Q. Why do I need such a thing, you ask?

A. Sometimes members, or you and your staff, feel their accounts are being compromised and without the hacker posting etc, no IP's are logged and there is no proof. Now you will have a log for such a thing. Also it was requested by, Loget, here Log IP addresses.


It is a simple installation, upload the file, ozzmodz_log_login.log, in the UPLOAD folder, to your forum root, then import the product XML, product-ozzmodz_log_login_ip

You can edit the options under the settings, OzzModz: Log Login/Logout IP Settings

A. Navigate to the log file, in your forum root, via FTP, and view it from there.

Q. How do I clear the log entries?

A. You can clear the log by deleting the entries and saving.

Q. How do I read the log?

A. It will have the info in this format, Date, Time, Userid, Username, IP Address.

Is it possible per user group wise permissions

I could make it like that, but the log may fill up quickly. You have a whole usergroup that feels their accounts are being accessed by someone else?

Thanks for update , i have one more 2 suggestion about this mod
1.how can we find some x user login log line and log out log line
2.logs view excludes User group permissions

1. There may be a way to do that, but not to sure, IMO it is fine the way it is, you can see the times they logged in/out.

2. Only people that will be able to view the log, is if they have access to your ftp, and know where you put the file, and it's name.
