time and date quote

Is it possible for a quote the date and time to come?

No idea what you are trying to say if you can explain in more detail

When a quote says "Posted by [username] 'can there is also the time and date when the item placed next to the name?

its not default setting but could be coded. Post in unpaid section see if someone will be kind enough to make the code for you

It's a good idea.

ForceHSS 10-16-2013 08:26 PM

to me its not needed as you can see what time the user posted the post with the quote in it already

ozzy47 10-16-2013 08:52 PM

Yeah it makes no sense to add it next to the quote, it is already visible, when the user posts the quote. Maybe kvv-dvk can shed some light on why they feel it is necessary.

On 'our' forum are sometimes quoted messages returned from a week but it is very confusing because it seems as if the message was just posted.

Yeah, we sometimes have quotes from pages back. Whole point of the quote is so you don't have to find the original post. Would be nice to know when that quoted post was made without having to click through. The time/date adds context.

Sure if you're just quoting the post above, then there is no need.

Maybe a link to the original post in the quote might be better
