how can the text at the top of the webpage be fixed instead of fluid? the text;

and can I have drop down menus from the main menu tabs instead of the nav path that occurs in the bar underneath?

Which version of vB4 are you running?

4.2.1 with a fixed width for the website, but this 1st bar at the top remains fluid with its text.

the bar underneath the main menu tabs I was going to put logos with links to websites, so I was looking to move all of those nav path links into drop downs which I thought was possible?

You can use the Navigation Manager to change the nav items.

Not sure on the bar being fluid,on a fixed skin, post your site so someone can look at is and see what is going on with the css.
