Search Function Needs to be ReIndexed?
 

Hello,
My forum was in phpnuke, but it was migrated into VB. I now notice that the search does not work for the imported data (it works fine for the new data).
Is there a way to "rebuild it" so that it will know about the old posts?

If not, I guess another solution would be to go with this:

Did you try, ACP --> Maintenance --> General Update Tools --> Rebuild Search Index

Yes, that seemed to work. Unfortunately, I can not follow through on your SIFT method as it says "You must 'Like' someone else's post before liking any more by ozzy47."
