google ads in archive
Hi,
Where can i find this module the google adsense in archive? thnx |
The archive don't use templates, so the only way to do that would be with a file edit, and is typically not advised.

For vB4 you just use the Ad manager in the AdminCP.
AdminCP-->Advertising-->Add New Ad select Archive |

Glad I could help,
Though now I'm using DFP and need to place some code in the header. So I'll need to edit /archive/index.php? |
Hi Doug,
I need help with displaying Adsense ads in Archive page. I'm using AdminCP-->Advertising-->Add New Ad for Archive. I want to display two 300x250 ads on the Top of the page and 728x90 in the bottom of the page. I'm also in DFP (using Google Publisher tags, asynch type). So I've edited /archive/index.php to include adcode in the header. Still only one 300x250 gets displayed in the top of the page. The rest of the ads doesn't display. What could be wrong? Can you please help? Here's my archive page link: http://www.indusladies.com/forums/archive/index.php/ |
There is a simple google ad archive hack for vb4 to add the advertising to the archive, which works good, use it instead of hacking up your files.

Hello Anthony,
Do you mind pointing me to the Google ad Archive hack for vB4? I searched here and could find one only for vB 3.6 / 3.7. Thank you! --------------- Added [DATE]1387310311[/DATE] at [TIME]1387310311[/TIME] --------------- Further working on getting ads displayed in the archive page this is what I have: http://www.indusladies.com/forums/archive/index.php/ Is this how the two 300x250 ads will sit one below the other? How can I get them displayed side-by-side? The 728x90 ad at the bottom, how can I get it in the 'centre' of the page? -------------------- I'm in DFP (using Google Publisher tags, asynch type). So I've edited /archive/index.php to include adcode in the header. I've included the <body> portion of the ad code in 'Ad Location Templates' for Archive. (Note: AdminCP-->Advertising-->Add New Ad for Archive - didn't work; I'm using vB4.2.1) |
