How can I use PHP for bbcode replacements?
 
Hello,

I've purchased VB5 a few days ago and will use it for a new literature community.

Registered users should be able to include bbcodes to posts like this [book]23648264[/book]. 23648264 is a single books ISBN number.

I've hoped that I could implement this with standard bbcode, but as far as I can see now only HTML/JS is allowed in the bbcode replacement field. However, I would need some PHP.

A single ISBN number should be replaced with a linked book cover. This data can be retrieved from an external database accessed via REST interface.

Any ideas how to start?
