Are you able to type in it, or is it just the buttons are missing?

If it just the buttons missing, go to your usercp, General Settings, and see if Basic editor is checked, if so change it to something else.

The typing box is empty. I can't click in it either. I'll try that and get back to you.

Fixed it, it was a mod I had installed.
