Upgrade to 4.2.1 frozen

It has been stuck at:
Upgrading to 4.2.1
Status: Processing XML, Step 5 of 9

For many hours. Can I refresh or where do I go from here?

Edit: Solved: refreshed the page and it went through fine.

You probably had a PHP timeout, so just refresh the page and see if it continues.
