Hello All,

This's my first ever post, but there'll sure be more to come !! Anyways, would someone 'PLEASE' tell me 'exactly' how to go about uploading an avatar to use as the default avatar for people who don't add their own? I'm sure for 'MOST' on here it's probably simple, but for me it's a major headache !! ANY help would be greatly appreciated !!

Thank you so much for your reply Ozzy, but I'd found all the downloadable Mods, but the problem I run into is when I try to download the file, it saves into/with Winrar, and don't know exactly how to use it.......:confused: I tell ya, if I could figure out how to download some Mods, then upload em correctly, knowing where exactly root file is that I'm supposed to upload to, well, I think I'd be on top of it all............for a good while atleast.....:D

The first default avatar mod, is just an xml file you need to upload via your AdminCP.

Disassociate rar or zip extension from google chrome (I am guessing). You can google this. I recommend Firefox browser. It will eliminate that clumsy problem for you.

Well, to be honest I didn't understand the disassociate thing (I use Firefox). When I download it, it does download (in winrar), and then I go to open it and there's several files (Read Me, Text, Upload, etc), and the only header that looks like it'd be relevant pertaining to them would be extract on the upload one?? I don't know, I'd tried to figure that thing out for months, and just gave up !!!

Anyways, I figured it out though once Zachery pointed out the fact that the first one that ozzy46 had pointed out was a .xml !! Duh !! BUT, I actually just downloaded a pic from the internet and uploaded it to the 'misc' folder the the images category and renamed it as unknown.gif as that's what the default profile picture file path said: images/misc/unknown.gif .

Anyways, didn't wanna leave you guys hangin as I am very appreciative of you trying to help me understand that's probably Super Easy to Most !!:D Anyways, thank you ozzy46, Zachery, and tbworld !!
