Increase the Similie Box Dimension
 

Hello,

Would want to have the Smilie Box popup window dimensions to be increased so that there are no horizontal / vertical scroll bars and the users are able to see all the smilie options in the box.

I'm not entirely sure this will accomplish what you are looking for, my test site only has the 11 generic smilies.

Open your ACP -> Settings -> Options -> Message Posting Interface Options

Scroll to the bottom of the page and set Smile Menu Total Smilies to a number greater than the total number of smilies that you have.

Thanks for your response, but that does not help. My site has 81 smilies and I increased in ACP, setting - Smilie Menu Total Smilies - 100 but still I see vertical scroll bars and the smilie box dimension remains the same.
Any which way to do this?

Hack: Set the minimum height and width of the Ckeditor plugin smiliebox

Edit:
Use a good editor (Do not use Notepad or Wordpad or something similar.
You can use the vbulletin uncompressed source or just edit the compressed since it is just a few parameter
changes.

Edit in vbulletin file area:
"/clientscript/ckeplugins/vbsmiley/dialogs/smiley.js"

Search for "270," <-- Do not include the quotes

The code you are searching for is the following.
Change this to the minimum width of your desired popup box.
WARNING: This should be less than the smallest device resolution you support.

Examples:
minWidth : 450,
minHeight : 290,

minWidth : 610,
minHeight : 450,

It is your environment so experiment.

Save and Recompress:
For final production version always recompress.
YUI compressor is easy to use and does a good job most of the time.
