external php xml force update

Hi there i have a quick question, how do i manually try to update the xml output from external.php . our thread names change frequently and i want to know if there is a cron that updated the xml output ?

any help appreciated

You could try setting Options > External Data Provider > Thread Cache Lifespan to a lower value.
