Media Buttons AFTER the first post

It's been suggested to me by a bloke who knows what he's talking about when it comes to SEO, that social media "like" buttons would be better placed AFTER the first post in each thread.

His reasoning is that people are more likely to use it after they have read the first post.

That sounds OK, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to include a like button in each post ?
