Post Changes Question
There was a post on here that someone posted, and now the title has changed, and some of the post content.
Not only that, I quoted the post, and my post is also changed. There is no signs of the posts being edited by anyone. Question being, do some of the staff here edit posts, and not show up with the message, "Last Edited By" or are they altering the posts in the DB? |
I know any edits I make say "Edited by..." I really don't know about other staff. If you want to PM me the link to the post I can see if I see anything.
Done, you have a pm. :)
Unfortunately there is nothing obvious I can see. Maybe someone else will know more.
It is a default vBulletin option to be able to turn off the "Edited By" notice by usergroup so if someone is setup that way I'm sure it's just being used as a VB feature, no one is going into the database to make minor changes. |
Administrator edits do not show any "edited by" (unless we choose to add a comment).
Ok, that's what I figured, I knew it was something simple. :)
My posts tend to change when someone has too much Kryptonite about... I dunno that green stuff just does not settle well with editing posts! :p
LOl...good stuff here...the Kryptonite comment that is....
