This is <embed> BBCode to EMBED a Facebook video in your VB forum.

I search quite few time to find any available bbcode for the same purpose but not really find any thing like that, so here I am posting the same, if any one already shared similar BBcode then kindly pardon me & administration may treat this thread accordingly.

Let's Start . . . . .

Add New BBCode

Title: Facebook

BB Code Tag Name: fbv

Replacement:

<iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id={param}" width="650" height="400" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Example: [fbv]343872875747629[/fbv]

Description: Embed Facebook videos in your VB forum.

Use {option} NO

Button Image (Optional) http://www.itdarasgah.com/images/icons/fb-icon.png (you can use any 16X16 icon here).

Remove Tag If Empty YES

Disable BB Code Within This BB Code YES

Disable Smilies Within This BB Code YES

Disable Word Wrapping Within This BB Code YES

Disable Automatic Link Parsing Within This BB Code YES


SAVE
That's it !!!

Just press CONTINUE if you receive the following message:
(The following BB Code replacement may not be properly formed. All HTML attributes should be enclosed within double quotes).

How to use?: Insert facebook video unique id no. i.e. 343872875747629
Press "HD" for High Quality Display..

How to find Facebook video unique ID?

This is very easy, you just need to view a Facebook video URL and and pick this video link as per below screen
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2013/09/25.jpg
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2013/09/26.jpg
(click on image for large view)

Just use similar like above highlighted number to embed any video via this BBCode.

did you put you icon URL at Button Image correctly? i.e. www.forum/image/icon.gif

Yes I did and it shows in the advanced reply box but not in the quick reply box!

First your code is missing a ". It should be "{param}".
Next, this BB code is not working in VB4x. I'm sure is a Facebook code change on their end. Can you update this?

="{param}" will not work strangle enough. the video will not show in posts. thought VB4 had this bbcode built in???
and yes, something has changed, as i just tested my own bbcode and video shows black, but click the screen and it plays. hmmm, may have to look into this.

EDIT:
after doing a lot of tests, only one that works at the moment is the bbcode shown in screenshot. not sure if we can do much better atm, as ip.boards fb video is doing the same thing. black blank screen, but click screen and it plays. maybe fb wants us to use as seen in screenshot that bbcode.
