Javascript not working in static HTML widget?

I am using vb 4.0.8 and am trying to include ExoClick advertisements in my static HTML widgets. The ads will not display the javascript. Is the static HTML widget not capable of rendering javascript? Anyone have any ideas on making these ads display?
