Replace vbulletin login

Hi all,

I want to replace the vbulletin login with my own login.

I want use an external script to validate the username and password.
When validate is oke, i want to update data in the vbulletin database.
Stuff like member ships, name, member number etc etc .
and the user can go on.

When a user doesn't exsists i want to create user in vbulletin en set all of the settings.

Can this be done, does any one have an example of module that does this ?
