AdminCP Options

I'm using cpnav.xml, I am wondering if it is possible to hide the settings from showing in all options and only show them under the drop down in AdminCP?

You mean the items found on the left pane, you want to hide those?

TheInsaneManiac 08-28-2013 04:05 AM

No the opposite, I want those visible, but in vboptions I don't want them to show.

@TheInsaneManiac

I am not really understanding the question either. I guess if we knew where you going with this we would get the picture. I believe you have some coding experience so the way I translated the question doesn't make sense to me.

I know your not simply talking about hiding or disabling the selectbox in the main iframe.

Ok, what would be the purpose of that?

I'm confused as well. If you create a cpnav.xml file, you can add menus to the left panel of the admincp, but I don't think they show up anywhere else.

I think what he wants to do is totally eliminate the ACP->Settings->Options->His Mod Settings selection.

It can be done, but the amount of PHP coding that would be needed makes it unreasonable to do.

I would like it removed from showing here.

The only way to do that is create your own acp pages, and have your settings in there, instead of using vB settings.

To use vB settings and not have them show up there is a no go, like nhawk said, the amount of PHP coding that would be needed makes it unreasonable to do.

But if I created my own admin pages then it would be easier than blocking vbsettings right?
