Background BB Code and PM Background Help

Cant figure out why I cant change the BBcode_code back ground and PM input background.

It is white and text is white, want to change the backgrounds to #121212, I have looked through stylevars cant seem to place it, or at least any changes I make have no effect,

Is there something I can place in additional.css to over ride these style properties? Or where would I go to change this? Thanks in advance, BTW is a custom style, but all else is good, answer is probably right there, but I cant find it, lol, cant see the text in or PM editor, when creating a PM or as well viewing a PM, annoying, lol,

Any help is appreciated,

In Style Variable Editor find Editor > editor_background. The same setting applies to all the editors. Just tested it and changed them all to black, then back to white

Thanks, that does change it, but not in quick reply when in PM, that is where the issue is, clicking go advanced, to full editor, back ground is black,

Editor in threads, either quick reply or full all is good,

Works for me but I'm testing in my dev site and there's some setting having to do with caching stuff that I think I turned off. See what happens if you hard reload the page twice. (hold Ctrl when you click the reload button)

If you've changed the right stylevar, hard refresh the site. I had to do this a few times when changing things on my forum. Either that, or clear your cache and try again. If still not, you must not be changing the correct stylevar. If you can leave us a link, we can try and look for you :)

No luck still, it is the edit post editor that is white and the PM quick reply editor, it must be a setting in code that over rides this in the custom skin, all is good,

All fixed, was in editor_controls background, couple different settings, as well as in formrow, but good now, custom style not mine and just helping out, was alot of hunting and pecking, lol,
