Database errors

I keep getting email alerts about data base errors anyone know any good mods that will help remedy this issue?

kh99 08-20-2013 01:29 PM

I don't know of any mods specifically for eliminating database errors, but if you tell us what the errors are we way be able to suggest some way to work on fixing them.

The email that the database errors go to is the one you entered into the config.php file. You could change that, but knowing about the errors is a good thing - don't you want to fix them so that you get no database error messages?

I don't mind the errors notification. My host normally fixes them for me but they stated trying to find a mod that will help prevent errors from occurring.

Can you post the here the db error messages that you are/were getting?

I'm not the OP but spiders such as google and archive dot org see this error at the bottom of my pages:
Warning: Unknown: open(/home/content/85/7389985/tmp/sess_crpvs9f5guavjrnqdde8nn3hf7, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct () in Unknown on line 0
No browser I've tried sees this error.

Start your own thread, this is a php fatal error related to php session storage and has NOTHING to do with database errors. Always start your own threads.

It is? What is that and how does it occur?

Is your host perhaps thinking of this? Suppress-o-matic - Stop database error spam
