tagging questions
 

I want to revive my old forums. They are dead. What used to be a community of music lovers and djs is a ghostland. What I want to do is turn it into a historical timeline of photos, events and downloadable music/mixes. I envision a tagging feature tying all the features together if it is possible with mods. I just need to know if it IS possible.

I remember the calendar function having an 'attending' feature so I am hoping that is still available. Would love it if i can add a 'performing' option as well.

Image gallery would have the flyer of the event as well as photos from the event. Maybe tag the performers on the flyer, and people could tag themselves in the pictures.

If i upload music or mixes at the beginning, can i somehow make them 'belong' to the dj/artist that is registered? So they show up as their files and not mine?

It would be cool to be looking at an event and see a performer and with one click be able to see all the events they performed at and all the music they have available. Or even the other way. If you are looking at a download from an artist, be able to see the events they performed at.

I hope this is in the right place and this makes sense.

Just about everything you are asking about would require a modification or custom coding. I'd suggest doing a search on your version of vbulletin (you never said what version it was) and seeing what is out there.
