Use of a CDN

Who is using one and do you have any data in relations to server load? I have been itching to use one for a while as I have a busy forum and it would be great if I could off load some resources cheaply. Currently I am doing the following.

Apache / Nginx (Nginx for static)
APC
Memcache
vbOptimize Pro

I have also smushed my images as well.

So should I go with a CDN, any other recommendations?
