Content Islands - How to do?
Back in the UBB days - they had a feature called content islands. It would put the last "x" number of posts in all your forums in a presentable format that you could use on your homepage or elsewhere.
I run an embroidery machine owners forum and you can see an example of it on the homepage at http://amayausers.com Question is, how do I do the same thing with Vbulletin. I'm switching (finally) and also run another large Vbulletin site for years and never found a good way. I know the RSS feed is outputted but it's not formatted which makes it difficult to use. Is there a module/plugin or script that has been written to do something like this for the most recent posts to your board to drive discussion into the site? |
