need urgent help please help!!!

when i click on the image /logo of my forum on top it goes to

mysite.com/.php

then to

mysite.com

this has been up for long but it didnt bother me so i didnt pay attention to it

but now its causing breakages of referral IDs people are not getting credited for their referrals

links are showing up as

http://mysite.com/.php?referrerid=1438

(this does not work)

instead of

http://mysite.com/?referrerid=1438

(this works )

problem is this referral plugin sees my site as mysite.com/.php

so the referral link gets altered

also,my homepage logo links to\

/.php link and not just mysite.com

I have vbseo installed if that helps....

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

And, disable vbseo via it's control panel and remove the .htaccess you added for vbseo. Now see if you still have the same problem.
