Execute SQL Query - Executed the Query, now site is down
 

Hello, and thank you for trying to assist me.

While trying to execute an SQL querie using:

Maintenance
Execute SQL Query

I get the following error:

You are not authorized to execute SQL queries

After contacting support I was told I needed to edit the config.php file. So, I added the following line at the bottom of the file (as support was not very helpful at all, I didn't know where else to put it):

$config['SpecialUsers']['canrunqueries'] = '1;

I saved the file, and went into my site's Admin CP. I went to:

Maintenance
Execute SQL Query

After clicking on Execute SQL Query, the Admin CP went blank. All attempts to access the site or Admin CP result in errors or blank screens. Can anyone assist me?

I fixed it by uploading a backup copy of the config.php file.

If that's a copy/paste of the actual line of code you put in it's missing a quote mark at the end
