I made some images I want to use as a background behind the avatars. I have seen some forums do this, often it looks like a "card" that begins above the username and stops below or before the stats likie location, post count, etc. For example mine are basically an image and have "Moderator" etc going up the left side.

Is there a mod for this or will I have to code something in the postbit?

In my searches I found a manual work through of the post bit from years and years ago. It's not exactly what I'm looking for, though.
