vb.org Archive - Removal of Article and What's New Tab

Okay not sure if this the right place for this, but would like to see if there is a way to remove the articles and what's new tab from the main navbar. Don't really plan on using them so would like to remove them.

I found this article here, but don't think it works for 4.2.1 which is the version I am currently running.
