Changing the Header

I am looking for some help in changing the the area to the right of my Logo.

http://www.buildingengineertalk.com

I want to add advertising of a embed a video in that area.
It looks like there is over 300 lines of code for that page.
I don't know how to modify it
Sitebuilder don't allow you into this area.
I may need to change this monthly.
I want to option to display 2 ads or 1 large ad.

Anyone have the experience/knowledge to do this?

Site builder allows you to position ads into the header area just fine.

It does allow me to ad the Logo but it is limited in width to 320px.
The right half, the large white area seems to be inaccessable.

What am I missing?

You can set the title image in the stylevars to be whatever size you want it to be.

O.K.
How?

I see 363 lines of code in the header style var.

Where do I insert code to add 2 things next to my logo that take up the rest of the space?

So, did you try adding code to the header ads?

EngineerOne 06-26-2013 01:02 AM

No, I did not.

The Logo area looked like it was a fixed width.
But that does give me an idea.
Take the logo out from where it is and add it to the beginning of the name.

I then may have 1 larger area for ads.
And if they are inserted with code, could be used for multiple ads.
I will try that.

Just changed my "header" by adding the logo to it.

The large area below it, where my large logo is, seems to only accept a photo.
When editing the area in Sitebuilder, it asks for an image file from my hard drive.
Don't think it will accept an HTML file.
I would hate to blow up my page by trying something that doesn't work.
I have done that already in a sub-forum.

Just to be clear -

The header area is different than the Logo area.

I am trying to use the Logo area for advertisements.
