Forum becoming slow - what hosting do you use?

Well, our "hatchling" package with HostGator treated us very well for our first year. But we're now averaging at 2,000 unique visitors per day. This might not be a lot to most of you, but it's got us a bit overwhelmed. Our site can get REALLY slow, especially when we share a link on our FB page, bringing a lot of traffic in at once.

Any ideas on what might be a good hosting package for our needs? We'd like one that is proven to work very well with vBulletin.

I use URLJet for my forums. Little pricey but the customer service and support is outstanding.
They specialize in vbulletin sites so it is needles to say that my sites run extremely smooth.

Todo10 Optimized Hosting is an optimized hosting for vBulletin I highly recommend:

Our optimized hosting is the appropriate solution for you if you are experiencing slow speed and high use of resources on a shared web hosting. We host only a few customers per server in order to ensure that you won't have any speed issues and your site will run smoothly. If you can't afford a dedicated server, this is what you definitely need.

If you mention in their live sales chat DragonByte Technologies sent you they should give you an additional discount as well (Instead of receiving the affiliate/referral money we just ask them to pass the savings on) .

They're not the cheapest in the world but they are very reasonably priced and are recognized as having some of the best/quickest support .

I use this host as well, top notch support. https://hivelocity.net/dedicated-servers/

All hosting discussion should be kept here.

Also please remember affiliate links are not allowed anywhere on this website, nor at vbulletin.com.

If you give advice there must be no financial gain should someone click on your links.
