Notification on external (non-vB) page
 

Hi there!

I'm trying to write a little modification that allows to include the toplinks bar on external - non vB - pages, but I'm stuck with the notifications at the moment.

My problem is, that I can't get a notification variable working. I already tried the following:

- {vb:raw notifications_total}
- $notifications_total

But none of it worked. So, does someone got an idea how to include variables concerning notifications or the whole notification dropdown in an external document?
