Calendar Events and Blocks
 

This is a request for our gaming site that heavily relies on game nights, the calender and a block on the frontpage that works as an easier reminder..

What we are after is when a game night is created via the calendar/event process the poster must submit an image related to the game, then this image is pulled on the the block on the frontpage..

We would be willing to pay someone if the money was right.

It would be easier to write an external program not using the calendar/event system to do what you want. I know this is not what you are asking, but you have a better chance of having it done at a cheaper cost. It would not be too difficult to code something like this up if you keep it simple. Event driven logic is very time consuming when it comes to testing and therefore should increase the cost of of APP if the programmer really knows what he is doing, which is why I suggesting this other route.

The vBulletin calendar/event system is finicky code.

Paid requests should be posted in the Request for Paid Services forum, there will be people checking that who don't check this forum.
