HTML formatted email notifications

Is it possible to setup the system in a way that when you are subscribed to a thread, it will send formatted HTML emails with the new posts as a notification? (like a mini post in an email)? as opposed to unformatted text only emails?

I receive emails like these from other forums I'm subscribed to.
