Approve the first message

Hi, if I wanted to make sure that only the first message of a new Member must be approved by a moderator before other messages are free you can do?

The only way I have figured out to do this is to select "no" in the Follow Forum Moderation Rules in the usergroup manager, and then move the user to a new unmoderated usergroup after their first post. If someone has a better way, I would love to hear it as well.
