Help changing Reputation Button in Postbit to Text

Hey can someone tell me how to code the Postbit template to change the little Sheriff badge icon to leave feedback to text? We use it for classified feedback and would like to remove the graphic and have it say "Leave Buyer / Seller Feedback" and still function all the same.

Thanks

Lynne

It's a background image in the CSS, like here:
HTML Code:
.postbitlegacy .postfoot .textcontrols a.reputation,.postbit .postfoot .textcontrols a.reputation{
background: url(http://www.thetradersden.org/vb4_sui...tation-40b.png) no-repeat #e9e9e9 left;
...
}
So, you would need to change the CSS and then also edit the postbit(_legacy) template to do that. If you need help with that, you would need to post over on vbulletin.org, the modification site.

Can someone tell me how to go about doing this? I know how to edit the templates... need helping properly coding it in both places.

Thanks!

Ok, I will assume you use horizontal posting so you need to edit: postbit_legacy

find the following code:

PHP Code:

<span class="reputationpopupmenu popupmenu popupcustom" title="{vb:raw post.postid}">
<
class="popupctrl reputation" href="reputation.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}do=addreputation&amp;p={vb:raw post.postid}"
title="{vb:rawphrase add_reputation}" rel="nofollow" id="reputation_{vb:raw post.postid}">
<!--<
img src="{vb:stylevar imgdir_button}/reputation-40b.png" alt="{vb:rawphrase add_reputation}" />
 -->&
nbsp;</a></span

This is where you can add your text between --> and &nbsp;

then you need to edit the css code you posted; only change the background to:

PHP Code:

background:none

save your work and you're done!

P.S> it is not a good idea to display Debug Information to visitors, they could misuse it and hack your forum... try to remove it as soon as possible, it is my advise to you. Cheers
