Members list

Anyway to show the complete members list for all members to see somewhere. Or at least a shortcut to the members list.

That should be ultimately a tab of sort at the top of the forum.

Thanks

The Members List is actually going to be a module that you may add to a page.

I still cant beleave there is no member list in vb5 such a basic feature should be there from the start . When vb5 has got a memberlist will it be able to be setup the same as in vb4 as a tab in the sub nav bar . I've not got vb5 but think it could turn out to be a good product after using the demo last week but i'll only buy when its stable and all the feature's are there

Why is it a basic feature? Who needs to be able to view the members list? It has always been a giant resource hog ontop of everything else.

I want to know how it hurts your actual users, not you as an admin.

As an admin, where do I go to see my member list? Site not up yet but I'm trying to figure that one out.

Thanks !

Your users may be more enticed at the beginning to join if they can view a solid list of users that are already on the forum maybe? I don't know...

We altered the vb member list so that it only shows members of particular forums. These forums are very small private forums -- this could have been done in a 'social group' instead.

On a very small private board, I can see a reason for a member list. For a large board (public or private) with many users, it is pretty worthless. Just my opinion.
